The System Biology Regional Network (SB(R)Net) Homepage

Systems biology is an emerging discipline whose aim it is to understand biological systems from a holistic and integrative perspective. It is hoped that such a perspective will bring about a deeper insight into biological processes where conventional approaches prove to be too limited. Besides traditional techniques from biology and biotechnology, systems biology will require considerable elements from mathematics and computer science. The Systems Biology Regional Network (short: SB(R)Net) refers to a network researchers concentrated at the British Isles. The Network’s main purpose is to explore, further develop and promote systems biology in the region.
