Systems Biology Research Group launched in Ulster

The Bioinformatics Reserach Group headed by Prof Werner Dubitzky of the University of Ulster was renamed into Systems Biology Research Group.

As Systems Biology has been the core theme of the Bioinformatics Research Group since its foundation in 2002, which is further emphasized by the fact that the research group took on a leading role in establishing the Systems Biology (Regional) Network in 2004, this change in name was recently granted by the Research Office of the University of Ulster and the Biomedical Sciences Research Institute.
